Job description

Job Title: Ecommerce Jewelry Associate
Location: 5100 Tice Street Fort Myers, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time
Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking an Ecommerce Jewelry Associate to support online sales by preparing, researching, and accurately listing jewelry and wristwatch items. This role is essential in ensuring high-value merchandise is properly evaluated, documented, and presented for online customers. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, basic jewelry knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, photograph, research, and list jewelry and wristwatch items for online sale in accordance with department standards.
  • Meet or exceed daily productivity and quality goals as assigned by the Ecommerce Jewelry Manager.
  • Accurately represent all items, including noting damages, imperfections, and defects through photographs, descriptions, and UPC scans.
  • Perform routine tasks according to established processes and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
  • Package and fulfill customer orders in a timely and organized manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal teams and external customers.
  • Foster and demonstrate a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Follow all Goodwill policies, department procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with eBay, Amazon, or other online marketplaces preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of jewelry and wristwatches.
  • Ability to receive, follow, and provide directions while communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to research jewelry and wristwatch information using multiple online resources.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled work hours.
  • Physical ability to move independently and stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull as required.
