Job description

Maharajas Fine Jewelry is seeking a passionate, professional, and customer-focused Jewelry Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, helping clients celebrate life's most meaningful moments, and delivering a luxury retail experience.


The Jewelry Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through purchases including engagement rings, bridal jewelry, fashion jewelry, luxury watches, custom creations, and special orders.

Compensation:

$18 - $20 per hour


Responsibilities:
  • Actively listen to and assist guests in making great decisions when purchasing fine jewelry
  • Meet and attain monthly sales goals
  • Assist guests with the intake of jewelry repairs and advise them of the importance of taking proper care of their most valued possessions
  • Build and maintain client relationships while also working alongside team members and communicating clearly to make sure clients are ultimately recognized and satisfied.
  • Learn and understand the importance of “our” standard of quality and how it should apply to our guests when making purchases.
  • Learn about the company’s assortment of brand partnerships and how their meaningfulness can apply to each guests purchase journey.
  • Keep guests informed on current lead times for in-house repairs and communicate lead times/estimates to guests for any outsourced repairs
  • Communicate with the back of house on any special orders placed to ensure that guests’ satisfaction with orders is being met.
  • Stay informed of new product arrivals and new brand partnerships as acquired
  • Participate in visual merchandising efforts and showroom changes/upkeep as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred; luxury retail or jewelry experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve sales goals
  • Ability to learn jewelry, diamond, and watch product knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Availability to work Saturdays and occasional special events
