Sales Associate – Luxury Jewelry Sales

Torre & Co Jewelers
Location: Downey, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time considered for the right candidate)

Torre & Co Jewelers is a luxury independent jewelry store specializing in fine jewelry, custom design, engagement rings, watches, repairs, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Associate who enjoys building relationships and helping clients celebrate life's most meaningful moments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service from greeting through checkout.
  • Sell fine jewelry, engagement rings, watches, and custom jewelry.
  • Educate customers on diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and financing options.
  • Generate sales through relationship building and follow-up.
  • Assist with jewelry repairs, special orders, and custom design consultations.
  • Maintain attractive merchandise displays and showroom appearance.
  • Process sales accurately using our POS system.
  • Handle customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and social media.
  • Participate in store events and promotional campaigns.
  • Help achieve individual and store sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred (jewelry experience is a plus but not required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude with a professional appearance.
  • Comfortable working toward sales goals.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and some evenings.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
