Job description

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1. All faculty responsibilities
2. Program Coordinator - IE Plan/Reports for MAED and Leadership Excellence
3. Complete state-recognized and primary partnership agreements for JEP and ILL
4. Graduate Admissions Committee Chair - JEP and Leadership - coordinate virtual meetings
5. Advise graduate students
6. Monitor, gather, and analyze grad-related surveys collected for state data
7. Maintain/Revise ILL Portfolio Guide
8. Keep Leadership/JEP courses aligned with state requirements (transition to Canvas)
9. Oversee adjunct class reviews
10. Collaborate with the Literacy Coordinator for Literacy Assurance for JEP and ILL
11. Prepare and complete all state review requirements for JEP and Leadership programs
12. Monitor JEP candidates
13. Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge/Education Experience
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Candidates must hold an earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years teaching experience and have an LOE score of a4 or 5 in the K-12 setting.
Candidates must hold a valid TN teaching license; administrative endorsement preferred.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge/Education Experience
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Knowledge of Tennessee's licensure procedures is desired.
Candidates with endorsements in Administration, Reading/Literacy, Special Education, Elementary, and/or Secondary are desired.
Experience in supervising teachers and/or student teachers is desired.
