Summary: Seeking applicants to join our maritime shipping research team and to become experts in the industry, along with shipping's various sub-sectors and those companies in the public markets.
Participants Will:
  • Conducting proprietary research evaluating the competitive landscape, analyzing industry news and company filings, attending conferences, and speaking with key opinion leaders
  • Building and maintaining financial models and industry-specific databases
  • Closely monitoring industry news and trends
  • Writing research reports for initiations of coverage, analysis of data, and industry/company news
  • Conceiving and completing differentiated project ideas.
  • Communicating with company management teams, internal sales and trading personnel, and institutional investors
  • Maintaining relationships with industry contacts
  • Completing corporate access events including company non-deal roadshows and property tours (some travel may be required)

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of proven experience within equity research and/or within the maritime shipping sector
  • We are looking for a candidate who has strong written and oral communication skills, can work independently without much direction and likes to take on significant responsibility

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $165,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
