We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to support our team out of our Cincinnati, OH Location.

Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Shipper is to prepare, process and move orders productively, safely, and accurately per established production rates and according to established standards and guidelines. Associates will be cross trained to perform a variety of functions in various departments to support business and operational needs.

Essential Duties:

  • Scheduling shipments and planning logistics
  • Preparing paperwork for shipments
  • Reviewing invoices
  • Packaging items and products
  • Checking orders for accuracy
  • Tracking and updating status of shipments
  • Operating warehouse equipment
  • Organizing and cataloging inventory
  • Documenting damages to inventory
  • Troubleshooting shipping issues
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to do basic math
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach continuously
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma and/or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with JD Edwards and ReconX is preferred.
  • Previous shipping experience is required
  • Candidate does not need to be an expert, although that would be preferred
  • Must be comfortable working within inventory and shipping systems efficiently
