Job description

Position Purpose:
The ERP Data Specialist is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and governance of all manufacturing data within JD Edwards (JDE) and connected systems. This role owns item master data, Bills of Material (BOM), and related configurations, ensuring alignment across EBT, palletizers, labelers, and Lisam to support efficient and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Data Specialist & Ownership
  • Own all manufacturing data entered in JDE, including item setup, BOMs, and routings.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely master data to support production, planning, costing, and inventory.
  • Ensure proper BOM structure and data integrity across the product lifecycle.

System & Integration Management
  • Update and maintain data across JDE and connected systems (EBT, palletizers, labelers, Lisam).
  • Ensure data consistency and resolve discrepancies across systems.

Data Governance & Quality
  • Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and governance practices.
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues; maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements (FDA, ISO, SOX).

Change Management & Support
  • Execute data changes related to MOC, new products, and engineering updates.
  • Support R&D in transitioning products from pilot to production.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and IT to support data needs.

Continuous Improvement
  • Improve data processes, controls, and system integrations.
  • Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, and data migrations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in data stewardship or master data management in manufacturing.
  • Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems; strong knowledge of BOMs and item master data.
  • Familiarity with EBT, palletizers, labelers, and Lisam preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Manufacturing or production operations experience preferred.
