About the Leslie Family Preschool: As a Preschool Teacher at the OFJCC Leslie Family Preschool you will create and implement programs and promote learning in a licensed, Reggio -inspired, play based, constructivist preschool program serving children ages 18 months to 5 years in accordance with our guiding principles and values.

Who are you?
  • Available weekdays 12:00pm-6:00pm.
  • 12 or more ECE units (AA and/or BA degree in ECE or related field & teacher permit preferred) We will continue to learn together.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed child care/educational environment.
  • Knowledge of Constructivist/Reggio Emilia Approach to teaching and learning desirable
  • Flexible and enthusiastic. Love what you do... seriously, like REALLY love it.
  • Friendly, warm and nurturing. Be a nice person & work well in a team.
  • Have some other interesting interests or skills... cooking, dancing, music, woodworking, juggling, origami, etc. What can we learn from YOU?
  • Write well and be comfortable speaking to parents...both when its easy AND when it's not so easy.
  • Think teachers are heroes and children will save the world.
  • Willing to do diaper changing and changing children's clothes when needed.
