Your Purpose in this Role
We are one of the top premier Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Contractors in the state of Arizona. We are looking for growth-motivated and self-starting individuals who value efficiency, reliability, and family.
Your purpose as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman will be managing and overseeing plumbing projects pertaining to commercial construction projects. The non-negotiables will be to ensure that plumbing systems are installed to IPC requirements, safety rules are enforced, and you train and develop your team.
Pay
$35.00 to $40.00 - Pay Rate Determined in Interview.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assigning and supervising plumbing personnel engaged in installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems.
  • Overseeing and inspecting the installation and repair of plumbing equipment, fixtures, and apparatus, such as pipes, sinks, traps, valves, faucets, vents, and pumps.
  • Estimating labor and material costs for jobs, maintaining records, and requisitioning necessary materials and supplies.
  • Planning and organizing work based on oral and written instructions.
  • Conducting regular inspections of ongoing work and completed projects, and occasionally participating in more complex plumbing tasks.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager on proposed plumbing projects and offering recommendations.
  • Recruiting and training plumbing trade personnel.
  • Be able to read submittal data and RFI's.
  • Provide the project manager with information to write RFI when needed.
  • Keep and update redline drawings.
  • Establishing safety and work performance standards for subordinates in accordance with Javits Center policies and procedures.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Strong knowledge of the IPC requirements.
  • Current OSHA 30 Card (Or willing to get it in the first 6 weeks of employment.)
  • Ability to run projects in the $50,000 to $200,000 range.
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Commercial Plumbing.
