JavaScript Engineer - 100% JS

The Tyche Project

Boston, MA

Full-time

Posted 12 days ago

Job description

Company Description

We are a uniquely designed talent agency focusing on the technology sector in the Boston, MA area.  Our solution is built for engineers tired of the traditional recruiting experience looking for an Agent to represent them in their current search and/or throughout their career.

They search keywords.  We know key people.

Job Description

I am working exclusively with a stealth mode startup consisting of the team behind Aereo prior to the Supreme Court shutdown late in 2014. Since, they have been operating here in Boston on a stealth product integrating hardware and software as an organization known as Project Decibel. The company is expected to come out of Stealth this year and is poised for rapid growth afterwards. They would like to add an engineer to the talented team they have built to this point with a passion for JavaScript and a high-level of understanding of it's fundamentals.

As they are in stealth mode there isn't much more I can tell you about them other than they are a highly-skilled team, are doing things with JavaScript that no one else in the area is, and haven't had any trouble securing funding from top-tier investors.

This is a 100% JavaScript role!

If you'd like to take a trip down the rabbit hole and see why this is an opportunity any JavaScript Engineer should be interested in, let me know! I'm happy to make introductions directly to the team if you'd prefer to communicate with them directly.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of JavaScript Fundamentals (command of closures, prototypes, or functional programming).

- Have a Github account with at least one significant JavaScript project to reference or portfolio with links to work using JavaScript.

- We believe that a core understanding of vanilla JavaScript will transfer into any framework - we specifically use a bunch of Node.js and a proprietary front-end framework.

SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY IS NOT AVAILABLE.  US CITIZENS AND GREEN CARD HOLDERS ONLY.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL TO BOSTON OR WILLING TO RELOCATE AND WORK INSIDE THE OFFICE DAILY.  NO REMOTE EMPLOYMENT AVAILABLE.
