Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new code for enhancements and new features.
  • Performing problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues.
  • Analyze and observe trends with technical issues and develop long term improvements.
  • Communicate status of issue resolution to internal customers.
  • Work with external vendors when necessary
  • Understand existing application in-depth and apply the knowledge for application support.
  • Lead moderately complex projects and participate in more complex initiatives.
  • Solve complex technical and operational problems.
  • Compliance with internal risk reduction processes such as RISE / Vulnerability management
  • Performing scheduling support via BAU change control process.

Technical Skills:

Mainframe Z/Os: COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS, Assembler, Working on multiple mainframe LPARs, Mainframe security(Access Management, ATTLS, etc)

Web Development: Java, DB2 Stored Procedure, Web Development (Angular/REACT.js, Springboot), Server management, Oracle DBaaS
