Position Description:
This position is located at our client site in Pittsburgh, PA. However a hybrid working situation is acceptable.
We are seeking a skilled IBM MQ Administrator / Integration Engineer with experience in React application development to support and enhance enterprise messaging and integration platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM MQ administration, integration technologies, scripting automation, and front-end development. This role will be responsible for maintaining messaging infrastructure, supporting application integrations, automating operational processes, and contributing to the development of modern web-based solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. IBM MQ Administration & Support
. Configure, administer, and maintain IBM MQ environments across development, test, and production platforms.
. Monitor and manage MQ queue managers, channels, queues, listeners, and related messaging components.
. Troubleshoot and resolve MQ performance, connectivity, and operational issues.
. Perform MQ upgrades, patching, migrations, and capacity planning activities.
. Implement and maintain MQ security, including authentication, authorization, and SSL/TLS configurations.
Integration Services
. Design, implement, and support enterprise integration solutions utilizing IBM MQ.
. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver reliable messaging solutions.
. Support message flow design, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.
. Ensure seamless integration between enterprise systems and applications.
Application Development
. Develop and maintain web applications and user interfaces using React.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Proven experience implementing and supporting IBM MQ Integrations.
. Hands on expertise with PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
. Experience developing modern web applications using React.
. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
. Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
