Full Description:

The Documentum SME will report to the IT Program Manager, and assist in building, testing, deploying and maintaining internal Document and Records Management systems and environment. This individual will be involved in the requirements gathering, planning, development, architecture, testing, implementation and maintenance of these environments. Individuals assigned to this position require limited guidance in performing the more difficult and complex assignments related to Development and Administration. Development will adhere to best-practice designs. Activities may also include: Retention Policy Architecture, moderate Java coding, basic Oracle/SQL database related activities, and deploying applications to WebSphere and WebLogic. Above average interpersonal skills are a must. The candidate will also need to have exceptional communication and documentation skills. Our team members interact closely with IT Managers, and other employees, so this is definitely a client facing resource.
Responsibilities:

Documentum Architecture and Development - Work with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and develop document management solutions in Documentum. Involved in all phases of lifecycle development, including requirements gathering, design/architecture, development, deployment, documentation, and maintenance.

Retention Policy Architecture - Ensure policy adheres to cleint and government standards for Federal Content Management systems.

Analyzes and resolves complex technical issues and environmental/infrastructure issues.

Qualifications:

Incumbents must possess a Bachelor's degree.

A significant amount of Documentum development experience in a federal government environment is a must.

Strong development skills and experience with numerous programming languages (Java proficiency is a must).

Knowledge of Federal Records Management (RM) Systems and RM policy

Experience in UNIX/Linux environments.

Selected applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
