Senior Java & GCP Integration Support Lead - OMS Modernization Program
Onsite - Customer Office (5 Days/Week)
Program Overview
We are executing a large-scale Distributed Order Management System (DOMS) transformation program involving migration from JDE OMS to IBM Sterling OMS. A common integration layer is being established to enable seamless communication between Sterling OMS and enterprise applications. We are seeking a dedicated Java & GCP Support Lead to own integration support operations onsite.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end support for the Common Integration Layer.
• Primary onsite technical contact for business and IT stakeholders.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within SLA commitments.
• Coordinate with offshore development, support, middleware, infrastructure, and OMS teams.
• Support integrations across OMS, ERP, WMS, inventory, transportation, and enterprise systems.
• Lead incident management, RCA, problem management, and service restoration activities.
• Participate in operational reviews and governance meetings.
Required Technical Skills
Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Messaging, GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub,
Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Monitoring & Logging), Integration Technologies, SQL,
Oracle/PostgreSQL, Splunk, ELK, ServiceNow, Jira, Git.
Domain Experience
Retail, Ecommerce, Order Management, Supply Chain, IBM Sterling OMS (preferred), JDE/ERP
integrations (preferred).
Soft Skills
Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder management, leadership, analytical thinking,
and ability to manage critical incidents.
Experience Required
8+ years Java experience, 3+ years GCP experience, production support leadership experience,
retail/OMS background, onsite-offshore delivery model experience.
Key Success Criteria
Platform stability, SLA adherence, reduction in recurring incidents, effective stakeholder
coordination, and successful support of JDE OMS to Sterling OMS migration.
