Job Summary:
Crunchyroll is a company that delivers the art and culture of anime to a passionate community. As a Software Backend Engineer on the Memberships Team, you will architect, build, and optimize the membership platform that powers revenue collection for Crunchyroll, directly contributing to the growth of the fanbase.
Responsibilities:
• Help shape the future of our Service Monetization Platform.
• Architect, build and optimize our membership platform that powers revenue collection for Crunchyroll.
• Work with design, product, quality and data teams to solve complex challenges, optimize performance, and enhance user experience.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the software industry
• Experience in Typescript or Node.js, Java, GoLang, PHP
• Experience with cloud technologies (ECS, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge)
• Experience with databases (PostgresDB/MariaDB, DynamoDB/MongoDB)
• Experience in operational excellence (on-call rotations, incident management)
• Ability to excel in an Agile and collaborative environment
