Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to support a mission-critical DHS/CBP program focused on developing, modernizing, and maintaining high-availability mobile and backend services. You'll work across Android and iOS platforms, integrating mobile front-ends with secure RESTful APIs and cloud-backed services in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android/iOS mobile applications and supporting RESTful APIs.
- Build and enhance services using Java, Node.js, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Apply strong testing discipline (unit, integration, regression) to ensure reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, implement preventative fixes, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
RequirementsBasic Qualifications:
- BS/BA and 8+ years of relevant experience; or Master's and 6+ years; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of hands-on mobile development (Android/iOS), including both UI and backend integration.
- Experience with Java, Node.js, RESTful APIs, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, solid communication, and experience working in Agile teams with tools like Jira.
- U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation (BI).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Flutter and Dart, or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.
- Familiarity with Postgres, Spring Boot, Kafka, MySQL, Hibernate, JSF, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/React and common design patterns.
- Background with DevOps/CI-CD, AWS, and mission-critical federal environments (especially CBP).
- Active CBP BI and experience delivering solutions in secure, highly regulated environments.
