Role: Java Developer
Location: Lake Mary, FL
Position: 6
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong development and troubleshooting experience to support complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze application logs, debug code, identify root causes, and resolve defects.
The candidate will support production and test environment incidents and collaborate closely with development, testing, and functional teams to investigate issues, implement solutions, and validate resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Triage and troubleshoot incidents affecting EDBC functionality across SNAP, TANF, and Child Care modules
• Analyze application logs, code, data, and system behavior to identify root causes
• Debug code and resolve defects in complex enterprise applications
• Implement or coordinate fixes based on identified root causes
• Validate resolution with functional and testing teams
• Support production and test environment incidents
• Collaborate with development, testing, and functional teams to resolve application issues
• Provide timely incident status updates
• Document technical analysis, defects, root cause findings, and remediation activities
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
Required Skills:
• Strong Java development and troubleshooting experience
• Experience analyzing application logs and debugging code
• Strong root cause analysis and defect resolution experience
• Experience supporting production or test environment incidents
• Experience collaborating across development, testing, and functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise applications
Preferred Skills:
• Experience supporting Health and Human Services eligibility and enrollment systems
• Experience with SNAP, TANF, or Child Care
• Familiarity with eligibility determination and benefit calculations
• Experience with EDBC functionality
• Familiarity with APIs and interfaces
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Experience with incident management tools such as Jira
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
