Secaucus, New Jersey, United States

Bilingual Route Sales – Japanese Food Import Company

The company imports popular Japanese food products and distributes them to grocery retailers. After successfully building its foundation, the company is now entering an exciting growth phase! Seeking a Japanese and English Bilingual Route Sales Representative to manage client relationships in the New Jersey and New York area. This is a client-facing role focused on relationship management, product delivery, and merchandising. As this position will be managed independently, we are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, organized, and confident in time management!

Key Responsibilities

  • Regular store visits and shelf management (stocking, organizing, displaying)
  • Communicating with store managers and staff (English communication required)
  • Introduce new products and conduct product presentations
  • Take orders and coordinate deliveries
  • Work collaboratively with internal members to ensure smooth operations
  • Data entry and preparation of sales support materials

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Bilingual Japanese/English required
  • Valid driver's license (driving required)
  • Food industry experience is a plus!
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Work Hours and Location

  • Monday–Friday (9:00 - 6:00)
  • Office & Warehouse: Secaucus, NJ
  • Client Visits: NYC area (mainly Manhattan, Brooklyn)
  • On-site position
  • Company vehicle provided

Travel between the NJ warehouse and the NYC client locations as needed

Compensation $55,000-$70,000/year (depending on experience) + Bonus
