Overview:
Join our welcoming team as a Cashier at our Japanese grocery store, where tradition meets modern service. We specialize in offering authentic Japanese groceries, fresh produce, snacks, and specialty items. As the first and last point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly, respectful manner

  • Operate cash register, process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately

  • Answer questions about products, including Japanese ingredients and brands

  • Bag groceries carefully and efficiently

  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

  • Assist with stocking shelves and front-facing merchandise when needed

  • Notify management of low stock or potential issues

  • Follow all store policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety
