At Aspect Retail Logistics, we keep our customers stores supplied with the everyday products customers depend on. Our high-volume grocery distribution center operates in a safety-first, team-driven environment where reliability, accuracy, and productivity matter.

Specialization: High-Volume Grocery Distribution & Warehouse Operations


JOB SUMMARY


Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the order fulfillment work plan for the shift. Utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) best practices, the LC coordinates outbound production planning, including but not limited to staging, waiving work, and monitoring the flow of the outbound dock. LC will monitor KPIs in real time such as departure times, warehouse scratches, re-work, and replenishments. In addition, LC will be responsible for other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Picking and Replenishment

• Assign and release work in the WMS system

• Open outbound loads in the WMS

• Monitor work as it pertains to efficient flow of the operation which includes LTO work, selector assembly, and load sequences

• Communicate with yard jockey for trailer placements and pulls

• Insert delay time into the engineered labor standard, along with verification

• Hourly communication of production reports to the operations team via email, dashboards, and radio

• Research and trouble shoot delays to production.

• Understand basic IC functionality to prevent out of stocks, service issues

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • College diploma in Logistics Management a plus
  • Three (3) years warehouse / logistics experience, preferably with some team lead experience.
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS), preferably Red Prairie.

• Intermediate level knowledge of WMS system, preferably Red Prairie.

• Basic knowledge of Excel.
