SALES ANALYST

SUMMARY

The Sales Analyst develops strategies to increase sales growth opportunities based on the analysis of market conditions, customer needs and company manufacturing capacity.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and monitor competitors and perform competitive benchmarking analysis.
• Conduct global market research and analytical studies using industry, customer, and company data.
• Prepare regular reports that include cost analyses, comparative data, and major segment trends and changes.
• Identify information sources and ensure data integrity and accuracy in all published reports.
• Track economic and market trends and activity that could affect business conditions.
• Assist in developing pricing strategies based on in-depth product and market knowledge.
• Partner with engineering groups to develop internal metric reports.
• Provide recommendations for improvement in data, reports, and enhancement of existing reports.
• Will perform other projects and tasks, as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Business level Japanese-both verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or related field.
• Knowledgeable of various methods and techniques of statistical analysis.
• Experience and confidence communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences both internally and outside of the organization.
• Solid MS Office product experience is required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Able to work in high intensity and demanding environment with strong commitment to customer service.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills. Must maintain professional presence and positive attitude with both external customers and co-workers.
• Must be able to obtain a valid passport and travel (domestic and international) for direct customer interface.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Technical product knowledge relating to silicon wafer manufacturing and semiconductor industry segments.
• Experience working in a large in a large volume process manufacturing environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Most work will be performed in an office environment. Typically works an 8 hour day M-F, occasional overtime may be required. Must be able to read, comprehend, execute, and communicate complex instructions and procedures. Requires an ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting for long intervals. Close vision (<2 feet) required. Frequently lifts up to 5 lbs., occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds. Walks and climbs stairs on an occasional basis. Normal twisting, stretching, lifting associated with a standard office environment. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America.

COMPENSATION

The range for this position is $83,000-$118,000 per year.

The starting pay offered will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including the candidate's skills, education, work experience, position level, and internal equity.
