What You'll Do
  • Grill proteins, vegetables, and signature items using authentic robata techniques
  • Maintain expert heat control, timing, and proper presentation
  • Follow precise portioning to uphold food quality and cost control
  • Ensure proper marination, skewering, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
  • Keep the robata grill and surrounding area clean, sanitized, and fully stocked
  • Communicate effectively with cooks, sushi specialists, and management to ensure timely execution
  • Support a safe and positive work environment - always practicing proper food handling procedures
  • Uphold Kumori standards of quality, speed, and service excellence
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef
