Job description

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing dealer and contractor relationships within the assigned territory. This role serves as the primary sales representative for Janus International's sheet door and rolling steel product lines in the region, working in close coordination with the California Distribution Center (CADC) in Anaheim. The TSM reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager – Western U.S. and is accountable for achieving defined territory revenue targets.


  • Manage and grow an established book of dealer, contractor, and OEM accounts across assigned territory
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities, including accounts with no order history in the prior 18 months or accounts that have never purchased from CADC
  • Achieve and exceed assigned territory revenue targets for sheet door and rolling steel product lines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits, product presentations, and job-site calls
  • Partner with CADC, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue rolling steel product conversion opportunities within existing sheet door accounts
  • Maintain accurate and current account records, pipeline activity, and sales forecasts in CRM
  • Monitor competitive activity — particularly from regional competitors such as Porvene — and report market intelligence to RSM
  • Represent Janus International at trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing activities as needed
  • Collaborate with RSM on territory strategy, pricing, and account prioritization
  • Other Duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in building products, commercial doors, construction, or industrial distribution
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets in a territory-based sales role
  • Strong relationship-building skills with dealer, contractor, and distribution channel experience
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage a large geographic territory independently
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout Southern California
