We are seeking a 1st Shift Supervisor for Orlando International Airport (MCO). This dynamic, hands-on inspector will be responsible for upholding quality standards and processes to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of airport facilities are maintained or exceed contractual obligations. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Position Summary
The 1st Shift Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing janitorial operations to ensure facilities are clean, safe, and ready for use by the start of the next business day. This role supervises janitorial staff, assigns work, ensures quality standards are met, addresses issues in real time, and serves as the primary point of contact during shift hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership
Supervise, train, and support janitorial staff
Assign work tasks and ensure proper staffing coverage
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must.
• Good organization, scheduling, and time management skills.
• Experience with all aspects of the Janitorial field including floor care.
• Ability to train and supervise employees.
• Responsible to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ability to work extended hours and meet the physical demands of work.
