Must have at least 1 recent year of janitorial/cleaning experience
Hours per week: Part-time (20 hours/week)
Schedule: Afternoon/Night shift: M-F, 6pm - 10pm (after office closes)
Days: 5 days a week (M-F)
Pay Range: $17/hour, DOE
Benefits: NYS Sick Time
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Cleaner will perform general cleaning and upkeep for a large commercial building and public facilities area. Individuals in these janitorial positions will ensure the building, grounds, and equipment are in a clean, orderly, and functional condition.
Summary of duties, Nightly SPECS:
  • Sweep and mop pantry area
  • Dusting all surfaces
  • Vacuum all sections
  • Clean all items in sink
  • Wipe and clean sink
  • Refrigerator will be done upon request
  • Remove all trash from all bins pails take to designated trash removal area and replace with new bags
  • Front door entry doors will be mark and fingerprint free nightly
  • Remove all food from counter area nightly and clean
  • Clean hallways, restrooms, offices, elevators, stairways, and windows
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must have a working phone that is able to download two mobile apps used to complete the job
  • Ability to use phone app for report completion of each location
  • Must be age 18 or over
  • Must have 2 valid forms of ID. 1 must have a photo
  • Must have a demonstrated record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions are also required
  • Ability to speak and read english
