Job description

IT SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR, PROJECTS
The IT Support Administrator - Projects is responsible for the planning, administration, and successful execution of key annual IT operations, with primary ownership of the hardware refresh program and summer intern onboarding. This role focuses on driving day-to-day project operations, managing cross-functional execution, delivering accurate reporting, and continuously improving processes using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jamf, Intune, SCCM, and Active Directory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hardware Refresh Program Administration:
  • Own and administer the annual hardware refresh program for computers and iOS devices using SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
  • Perform refresh project data analysis and generate recommendations to determine what will be refreshed in the upcoming year.
  • Write and maintain scripts to automate asset uploads and other manual processes to improve operational efficiency.

Project Operations & Execution:
  • Plan, manage, and track annual IT Support projects in Jira, including creating and maintaining Jira dashboards for real-time visibility.
  • Drive day-to-day operations of the project team, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Document processes and project knowledge in Confluence.
  • Monitor project progress and deliver accurate, timely reports on milestones, status, risks, and completion.

Intern Hardware Lifecycle Management:
  • Plan and administer intern hardware onboarding and offboarding processes using Active Directory, Intune, and Jamf.
  • Manage the collection, reclamation, and inventory updates of hardware when interns complete their program.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
  • Provide training, guidance, and direction to project IT technicians on the use of Jamf, Intune, SCCM, and other tools.
  • Collaborate with IT project technicians to identify and implement improvements to daily processes and workflows.
  • Develop innovative solutions to streamline operations and increase team efficiency.

Reporting & Performance Management:
  • Analyze data annually using Excel to support planning for hardware refresh projects and other yearly IT initiatives.
  • Prepare and present clear reports on project performance and outcomes to IT leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in IT support administration, project coordination, and hardware asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft technologies.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise tools including Jira, Confluence, Jamf, Intune, SCCM, and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Excel experience for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Proven ability to create and manage Jira dashboards for project tracking and reporting.
  • High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience managing hardware refresh and device deployment projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead day-to-day project operations and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Training and team coordination skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and reporting abilities.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs. unassisted.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
IT Support Administrator: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
