MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Certifications: CPR/First Aid and Bright From The Start Georgia Health and Safety Orientation Training
Communication/Organizational Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff; ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in order to accomplish work in compliance with quality standards and deadlines
GOAL:
Design and deliver a program with activities that are safe, fun and appropriate to students' age and abilities.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads and engages campers in scheduled activities and events.
  • Assists in the management of the overall program operations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of effective behavior management
  • Delivers program activities, as needed
  • Supervises and monitors students during the day-to-day operations of the program
  • Ensures that the program is running smoothly and in compliance with established procedures
  • Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines
  • Counsels students in conflict resolution
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with students, staff, and other key personnel to facilitate a smooth operation of the program.
  • Ensures students follow safety procedures in all areas
  • Checks the area and equipment for safety, cleanliness and good repair on a daily basis
  • Works with the site-manager in planning, coordinating and supervising activities related to program.
  • Provides leadership and serves as a mentor to students.
  • Interacts in a positive manner with students, parents, staff, and community.
