We value collaboration and believe that inโ€‘person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.

Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll need

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or higherโ€“level degree from an ABET accredited engineering school.
  • At least 8+ years of applicable professional experience.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the design process, construction documentation, construction administration, materials and methods of construction, as well as land development, zoning, and building codes.
  • Advanced understanding of civil engineering design and their interrelationships with other disciplines.
  • Experience performing construction administration activities โ€“ responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, preparing field observation reports, and punchlisting.
  • Willingness to work remotely and engage virtually with team members in different geographic locations.
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities; coordinating work with engineering disciplines and specialty consultants; independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to perform quality checking or accept and implement quality checking by others.
  • Experience supervising the work of other design professionals.
  • Proficiency in storm drainage and stormwater management modeling.

Ideally youโ€™ll have

  • Strong interpersonal skills โ€“ speaking, writing, listening, including client presentation skills.
