Job description

Title: Hot Prep Cook
Reports to: Executive Chef
SUMMARY
Responsible for production of all Hot Prep food.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Accountable for slicing, chopping, portioning, and heating Hot Prep Food
  • Accountable for executing all Delivery and Catering food needs
  • Maintain proper food storage, rotation and organization
  • Accountable for following all systems and processes for Caterer and Delivery person loadout
  • Accountable for kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards including time and temperature tracking and cooling
  • Accountable for following recipe guidelines and specs to ensure food consistency and quality
  • Accountable for Guest Satisfaction and Overall Experience
  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed and necessary
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years of Front and/or Back of the house experience in a high-volume, full-service food environment preferred but not required.
  • Cannot be convicted of a felony.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly think on your feet.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and take initiative.
  • Ability to enforce companyโ€™s standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate work.
  • Possess good communication skills to deal with staff.
  • Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment.
  • Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and convey self-confidence.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to stand or walk constantly, 100% of shift
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift, push and pull materials throughout shift
