Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. You will play a vital role in preparing and monitoring patients through procedures involving local and IV sedation, ensuring their safety, comfort, and quality care. This position is ideal for a skilled RN who brings both technical expertise and a patient-focused approach to surgical care.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures involving local and IV sedation in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
  • Assess and monitor patients during preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative stages in line with facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with oral surgeons and anesthesia providers to support safe and effective surgical care.
  • Employ strategies to promote health and a safe, compliant clinical environment.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations and patient care 

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience
  • Critical Care and Cardiac experience preferred
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing with relevant experience, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active, unencumbered RN license.
  • Strong IV insertion and management skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and patient-focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
