Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: Supports the department by accurately preparing medications for patient dispensing, maintaining appropriate records to assure adherence to regulations, and to provide accurate financial accountability. Provides excellent customer service by helping to maintain an organized and efficient workflow in the pharmacy and consistently demonstrating MERIT standards of performance. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Education: Associate's degree in Pharmacy Technology
  • Required License: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire AND Active status as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (as credentialed by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
  • Required Experience: At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience or completion of an Associateโ€™s Degree in Pharmacy Technology
  • Preferred Experience: At least 4 years of pharmacy technician experience
