Position Overview

This position supports the pharmacy team by communicating directly with patients, dispensing unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV medications, and related supplies, and working collaboratively to triage and respond to all pharmacy needs promptly.

Team Overview

The candidate will join a pharmacy team consisting of:

  • 6 Pharmacists
  • 6 Pharmacy Technicians
  • 1 Support Staff member
    Key Responsibilities
  • Call patients and answer phones
  • Dispense unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV medications, and related supplies
  • Work within a team to triage and respond to all pharmacy needs promptly
    Ideal Candidate Background
    Pharmacy experience required; hospital or home infusion pharmacy experience preferred.
    Required Skills / Attributes
  • Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems
  • 1+ years’ experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload throughout the day
  • Strong customer service skills

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification

Licensure Requirement

This position requires an active and unrestricted Minnesota Pharmacy Technician License.
