Job Description
Job Title: Charge Registered Nurse
Profession: Registered Nurse

Experience: Minimum 18 months of experience required
License: Must have an in-state license and required certifications in hand prior to submission
Certifications: ACLS, BLS (NIHSS preferred)
Must-Have:
Telemetry, IV start, cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen management required.
Charge nurse experience preferred.
Experience with cardiac drips and dysrhythmias.
Description:
This is a charge RN role only.
Candidates must confirm their desire to proceed with this submission.
Unit does not accept travel pairs.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend work is required.
On-call duty is not required.
The clinician must float within the scope to meet facility needs.
Travelers must work two out of three major holidays.
Special procedures performed include heart catheters, BiPAP, and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
The unit provides stepdown care for cardiac and medical patients.
Candidates must have experience with starting and maintaining IVs, administering blood products, and managing central lines.
Knowledge of tracheostomy care and rapid response procedures is essential.
Travelers will be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Note that local residents are not accepted for this role.
Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted.
Two supervisor references are required for consideration.
Only candidates who meet the experience and certification requirements will be considered for this position.
