Special Security Office Support ***As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.*** The Special Security Office Support person will support the government in the day-to-day implementation of security policy and procedures for 3 units in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Special Security Office Support: salary starts at 110K per year. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Special Security Office Support Responsibilities Include: * Support the supervision of daily security activities and enforce company and government security policies for 3 units in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area. * Perform access control responsibilities, including managing badges, access cards, and controlled spaces at Space Base Delta 41. * Support the government in certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances/accesses. * Help the government manage MD6's National Industrial Security Program (NISP). * Help the government in performing duties as an assistant security manager for MD6. * The NISP shall be managed in accordance with DoD Manual 5220.32 National Industrial Security Program: Industrial Security Procedures for Government Activities Volume 1. * Support the government in managing the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) including tracking training status of all MD6 personnel. * Adhere to Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 16-14, Security Enterprise Governance, to achieve required protection, planning and programming needs for MD6. * Help the government maintain the facility clearance in accordance with Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency requirements. * Help the government implement procedures for handling proprietary, business confidential, and government classified information. * Assist the government in processing requests for granted personnel security clearances; review and submit documents as required. * Assist the government in managing security classification guides, safeguarding personnel information, resources technologies, facilities, and assets against harm, loss, or hostile acts and influences. * Must be able to work full time on-site. Special Security Office Support Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: * Bachelor's Degree.
* 5-7 Years' Experience in a Security Support role.
* Candidates must be US Citizens.
* Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
* Candidates will be subject to a US Federal Government background investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMs, Outlook).
