We are seeking an exceptional Head of Infrastructure & Operations to lead our technology infrastructure and operational excellence initiatives. This senior leadership role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our global technology infrastructure while driving operational improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and proven leadership capabilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Management
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships and negotiate enterprise agreements
  • Serve as primary executive contact for global outsourcing agreement with major IT services provider
  • Oversee global data center operations, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid environments
  • Direct network architecture, security infrastructure, and disaster recovery planning
  • Manage infrastructure capacity planning and scalability initiatives
  • Ensure best in class up time performance for critical business systems
  • Lead infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives
Operational Excellence
  • Establish and maintain SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics
  • Implement ITIL best practices and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Drive cost optimization while maintaining service quality
  • Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning
  • Develop talent pipeline and succession planning
  • Foster culture of improvement and continuous learning
  • Manage global teams across multiple time zones
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with other technology and business units
  • Manage annual infrastructure budget of $9M+
  • Oversee global outsourcing contracts valued at $6M+ annually
  • Develop business cases for infrastructure investments

Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive technology infrastructure experience
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing large, distributed teams
  • Experience in global services, financial services, or similar regulated industries preferred
Technical Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, network, security)
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks
  • Experience with DevOps, automation, and infrastructure as code
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and other operational frameworks
Leadership Skills
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure transformations
  • Experience managing complex IT outsourcing relationships and service delivery

The salary range for this position is $240,000 - $260,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
