Job description

Kickstart your career in Information Technology with a hands-on summer internship at JL Clark, a leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and growth. This June–August internship offers real-world experience supporting IT operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment, not software development, but the critical technology that keeps our business running. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to be considered for future full-time roles.

job Summary:

Under the direction of the IT Systems & Security Manager, the IT Intern will play a hands-on role in supporting day-to-day IT operations and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies in a manufacturing environment. 1. Monitoring for suspicious activity
    2. Assisting with phishing awareness and training efforts

    9. c) Assisting with data backups and recovery processes under supervision
    10. d) Supporting IT projects such as system upgrades, new software implementations, or equipment rollouts s
  7. Assist with on-site: Ethernet cabling, network cabinet organization, A/V presentation support, system building, and other IT infrastructure updates

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:

  1. Pursuing a degree in Information Technology.
  2. Strong computer, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  4. Dependability and the ability to multitask.
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and general computer applications.
