blueStone has been retained by a large consulting company to assist them in their search for a Consultant. This is a long term contract located in the suburbs of Detroit.
Job Description
1.     Responsible for actively defining solution architectures which includes evaluation, selection and integration of necessary technical components to create solution designs that support the defined functional and non-functional requirements.
2.     Responsible for documentation and comprehension of the current state application and/or infrastructure architectures for the assigned domain areas.
3.     Responsible for development and/or review of future state application or infrastructure architectures in an organized and cohesive manner using industry accepted frameworks.
4.     Understands and applies architecture principles in the context of a specific solution.
Qualifications
1)Â Â Â Â Â Solid working knowledge of software or hardware design, selection and deployment techniques and methodologies.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Practical knowledge of the application of architecture design methodologies and frameworks.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of multiple IT technology domains including software development languages and platforms, infrastructure platforms, data management and database technologies, networking technologies and security frameworks and tools.
4)     Expertise in the use of various architecture support tools such as Orbus, Troux, System Architect, Pro Vision and MS Office tools used in the practice of architecture such as Visio, Excel, Word and Power point.
5)Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge and Proficiency in some of the following products/technologies:
         a)     Microsoft: ASP.NET/VB.NET/C#/VC++/MFC, Microsoft Dynamics, Sharepoint
5-7 years information technology experience in a large scale commercial enterprise.
