Duration: 3-Month Contract, potential for extensions

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Help Desk Specialist for a top enterprise client in the Chattanooga, TN area. This individual will serve as a key member of the IT support team, providing technical assistance to end users through phone, chat, and ticketing platforms. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically savvy, and motivated to tackle new challenges while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities include account management, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting enterprise service desk operations, and adhering to ITIL-based best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical support background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and making a direct impact on the end-user experience.
Day-to-Day:

  • Deliver IT support via phone, chat, and ticketing portal
  • Manage user accounts and access-related requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incoming technical support tickets
  • Escalate issues appropriately when necessary
  • Follow ITIL-based service desk standards and processes
  • Communicate updates, resolutions, and issue status to team members and end users
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the ticketing system
  • Support enterprise-wide service desk operations


Must-Haves:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • 2+ years of technical support/help desk experience
  • Experience working with Active Directory

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
