Job description

Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (Help Desk Analyst)
Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite 5 Days/Week, Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM)
Seniority on the skill/s required on this requirement: Mid-Level (Tier 1/Tier 2)
Estimated Duration: 18 Months + Extensions (Long-term contract; potential for permanent conversion)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop support for enterprise end users. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, deploying and configuring endpoint devices, supporting Microsoft and Apple environments, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, enjoys solving technical problems, and has experience supporting Windows and macOS workstations, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, mobile devices, and a broad range of endpoint hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktop hardware, software, and endpoint devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows and macOS computers, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, mobile devices, and desktop peripherals.
  • Deploy, image, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related endpoint hardware.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot Apple macOS devices, iPhones, iPads, and mobile applications.
  • Install, configure, and support network and local printers (HP, Xerox, Lexmark, and similar devices).
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for computers, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other IT assets.
  • Support workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, office moves, and new employee equipment setups.
  • Participate in special IT projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

Requirements:
Required Technical Skills

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, relevant technical certifications, or a minimum of three years of enterprise desktop support or service desk experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple environments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret and execute complex written and verbal instructions.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting medium to large enterprise environments.
  • Experience with endpoint deployment, lifecycle management, and asset tracking.
