About the Role Reporting to the Chief Innovation and Learning Officer and working in close coordination with the Systems & Database Administrator, the IT Support Specialist serves as the primary hands-on technology support resource for St. John's Episcopal School.

The Specialist provides direct, day-to-day assistance to faculty, staff, and students across all technology needs, including hardware and software setup, audio-visual systems, physical network tasks, and the general upkeep of the school's technology environment. Essential Functions Serve as the primary and first responder for all technology support requests from faculty, staff, and students, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and audio-visual issues in a timely manner. Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (e.g., Intune, Mosyle) for imaging, deployment, updates, and patching of computers and mobile devices; provision and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 under the direction of the Systems & Database Administrator

Assemble, install, configure, and test computer hardware, peripherals, and incoming equipment, including computers, mobile devices, phone systems, and audio-visual equipment. Install, configure, and maintain audio and video equipment in classrooms, the auditorium, and meeting rooms; set up and manage audio-visual support for school events and presentations, including some evenings and weekends as needed. Assist with the physical maintenance of the school's network infrastructure (cabling, patch panels, hardware components); maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate warranty and repair work with vendors.
