Job description

Technical Source is currently in search of a PSSR Coordinator for an engineering firm that services the pharmaceutical industry. This specific role will support a new pharmaceutical manufacturing build in the Lebanon, Indiana area. It is a long-term contract opportunity that will require on-site work. Expected duration for the project is 2+ years.

Responsibilities of the PSSR Coordinator include:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional PSSR reviews for new, modified, or maintained equipment.
  • Verify installations, documentation, and procedures meet design and PSM requirements.
  • Track and close critical safety findings before startup.
  • Conduct final readiness reviews and provide safety sign-off for commissioning.
  • Improve PSSR processes, templates, and startup workflows.

Qualifications of the PSSR Coordinator include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Health & Safety, or related field.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience with MOC, HAZOP, What-If, and other risk assessment methodologies.
  • CSP/ASP certification and/or plant shutdown, outage, or TAR experience preferred.
