Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support in a fast-paced, multi-site business environment. This role supports approximately 400 end users across multiple locations and is responsible for managing service requests while delivering high-quality technical assistance. The IT Support Technician will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 applications while helping maintain system security and user access standards. This is a visible, customer-focused role requiring strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader IT team. This position offers long-term growth opportunities into infrastructure, systems administration, and broader IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Provide end-user technical support across multiple departments
  • Manage and resolve service tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Install, configure, maintain, and repair laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Set up new user accounts, email access, and equipment following established security guidelines
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Assist with user access management and security best practices
  • Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance
  • Support technology lifecycle management and equipment replacement
  • Collaborate with IT team members on projects and continuous improvement efforts
  • Travel between nearby company locations (approximately 10–15%) to provide onsite technical support as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of hands-on IT technical support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Experience provisioning laptops, user accounts, and mobile devices
  • Understanding of IT security best practices and user access management
  • Ability to work independently as a primary onsite IT resource
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting multi-site organizations or environments with 100+ end users
