Our client is interested in hiring a Datastage Admin who can use Datastage, ETL, Sybase, Oracle or Greenplum, and No Hadoop.

Title: Datastage Admin

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6+Months

Term: Contract 

Interview Process: Phone then Webx / On-Site

Remote Option: No

Required: Tasks & Duties

Excellent communication skills to include verbal, written & presentation.

5+ years experience of administering DataStage (ETL development tool) product. (administration includes new set up of the tool, setting up infrastructure in Unix/ Linux platform, also performance tuning of the product.

5+ years of Unix/ Linux administration experience. (Must be comfortable with Perl/ Unix shell scripting and have the ability to troubleshoot set up as well as monitor the health and well-being within infrastructure.) Unix commands are extremely important.

Minimum of 2 years experience setting up DataStage 9.1 products and making recommendations for best practices of tool set up preferably in an enterprise environment, open to midsized as well.

Understanding of DataStage development. (NOT a Developer, however they will be required to conduct code reviews.) 

Not ETL coding but will need to be able to decipher if issues are code related or systems related.

Database experience: Sybase, Oracle or Greenplum. Candidates do not need Hadoop experience.
