Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
IT Project Manager to support enterprise infrastructure and application development initiatives for a global manufacturing organization. This individual will serve as the primary l
iaison between Application Development and IT Infrastructure teams, ensuring infrastructure services, governance, and project deliverables are successfully planned, coordinated, and executed.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing multiple concurrent IT infrastructure projects, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, driving change management activities, and working with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage projects independently.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT infrastructure projects supporting enterprise application development initiatives.
- Coordinate the provisioning of enterprise IT tools and infrastructure services, including platforms such as ServiceNow and other internal systems.
- Serve as the primary Infrastructure representative for Application Development projects and planning meetings.
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives.
- Schedule, facilitate, and lead project meetings with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application development, security, networking, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project dependencies across development, testing, deployment, and production implementation activities.
- Coordinate all phases of the organization's Change Management process, including assessment, planning, approvals, implementation, and post-implementation review.
- Create, submit, track, and manage Change Records with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Partner with Incident, Problem, and Change Management teams to minimize production risk during implementations.
- Validate production readiness and coordinate post-deployment verification activities with support teams.
- Monitor project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful execution.
- Participate in governance meetings supporting infrastructure planning and project scope changes.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate project status to leadership.
- Build strong working relationships with business partners, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience managing enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience leading IT Infrastructure implementation projects.
- Experience supporting Application Development projects requiring cross-functional infrastructure coordination.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating infrastructure provisioning and deployment activities.
- Working knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.
- Experience working with Change Management processes in enterprise IT environments.
- Experience with both cloud and on-prem environments
- Experience collaborating with external vendors and third-party technology partners.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project scheduling skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
Big Bonus Points if you Have:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience within large enterprise or global manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
- Experience coordinating Disaster Recovery testing and infrastructure readiness activities.
