Job description

Onsite Project Manager

A3 Consulting LLC is in need of an Onsite Project Manager to support the Program Management Office (PMO) operation at an existing Federal client. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the team to support the goals of the program and its clients.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist in evaluating and enhancing IT project management processes and templates
  • Provide support and oversight to project sponsors and managers in managing their projects
  • Ensure that projects are managed effectively and consistently throughout the systems lifecycle
  • Develop and/or enhance a project management and systems development life cycle
  • Develop and/or modify templates for project management documents
  • Provide advice and support to Project sponsors and managers
  • Develop and implement project management training programs
  • Perform periodic analysis and reporting on the status of IT project management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
  • At least 10 years of experience in system/software solution development and delivery
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience leading a team to deliver solutions
  • Proven comprehension of technology and ability to speak and understand in technical terms
  • Experience working in Scrum or Agile environments
  • Ability to apply project management knowledge to real world scenarios

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in around Federal Government and working knowledge of contracting, funding, etc.
  • Active PMP Certification
  • Experience in application development, systems administration/engineering or other technical discipline
  • Active TS Clearance

Security Clearance:

  • Must have an active US Government Top Secret Clearance

W-2 employees are preferred, but we will also consider 1099 or C2C.
