Job description

Are you a systems and network engineering expert with a knack for solving complex IT challenges? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy executing IT projects that make a tangible impact on clients?
If you're detail-oriented and ready to leverage your MSP experience in a growing IT firm, you might be the candidate we're looking for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT Project Implementation: Oversee project planning and execution for a variety of IT initiatives, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless integrations.
  • Define Project Scope and Deliverables: Establish realistic timelines, parameters, and Statements of Work (SOW) for each project.
  • Client and Technical Documentation: Document all new and modified systems to ensure clarity and continuity for the technical team and clients.
  • Complex Network & Systems Configuration: Troubleshoot, configure, and implement servers, networks, and wireless solutions.
  • Service Desk Escalation Support: Act as a Level 3+ support for advanced issues escalated by the service desk.
  • Client Onboarding: Lead technical tasks in onboarding new clients, ensuring smooth transitions to our systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 3+ years of recent systems or network administration work, ideally within an MSP environment.
  • Project Execution: Proven experience in managing Microsoft cloud solutions, server migrations, and IT project delivery.
  • Advanced Systems Expertise: Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS (10, Server 2016, 2019, 2022), building servers from scratch, configuring storage solutions, and managing complex network environments.
  • Network & Security Skills: Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, TCP/IP, subnetting, firewall configuration, and VPN management.
  • Automation & Scripting: Experience with PowerShell and automation of systems tasks.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Network+, with or Security+ preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSP Tools & Technologies: Experience with ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, and other MSP-focused tools.
  • Networking Proficiency: Solid understanding of IP routing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and endpoint security, with experience in SonicWall and Meraki devices.
  • Microsoft Cloud & VoIP: Familiarity with Office 365, Entra ID, RingCentral, and Microsoft Teams VoIP.
  • Advanced Certifications: Microsoft M365 Fundamentals, M365 Administration, Entra ID for identity management.
