Position Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and bilingual IT Manager to lead our IT network infrastructure initiatives in Manteno, IL. This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and efficient IT network, ensuring seamless operations across our facilities. Fluency in both English and at least business level Chinese is required to support communication with global teams and vendors. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage (Cisco)LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure, ensuring network performance and security. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with organizational goals for Helpdesk, MES and Infrastructure. 
  • Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches following group standards and provide feedback to HQ on issues.  
  • Global Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the U.S. and Chinese IT teams to ensure alignment on global IT strategies and standards and reviewing with leadership before implementing. 
  • System Upgrades: Oversee upgrades to hardware, software, and networking equipment in alignment with business needs and to learn and support all company-specific software solutions including but not limited to researching, procuring, implementing, and maintaining all companywide software. 
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring optimal service levels and cost efficiency. 
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance (ISO27001,TISAX)with local and international regulations, including data protection and privacy laws (GRC) 
  • Helpdesk Support: Provide escalation support for complex IT issues and ensure timely resolution. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. 
  • 7+ years of IT experience, with a focus on network management. 
  • 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role. 

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware. 
  • knowledge Linux/Windows server and VMware 
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. 
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and hybrid IT environments. 
  • Languages: Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (written and spoken) is mandatory for the international corporation
