Position Summary
  • The Director, IT Operations and Cybersecurity is responsible for leading the company's technology infrastructure, cybersecurity strategy, and day-to-day IT operations. This role ensures employees have reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions that support business growth, scientific innovation, and regulatory requirements.
  • As a senior leader, the Director partners with executives and business stakeholders to develop and execute technology and security strategies that align with organizational priorities. The role oversees IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, risk management, and business continuity while driving operational excellence across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational execution, with experience building high-performing teams, managing vendor relationships, and delivering technology solutions in regulated environments. This individual will play a key role in safeguarding company information, supporting critical businessfunctions, and enabling the company's long-term growth and success.
  • This position is based in our Woburn office and welcomes hybrid work! Local candidates are expected to be on-site a minimum of 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall IT operations and cybersecurity strategy for the organization.
  • Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable technology services that support business objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with organizational priorities and risk tolerance.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing IT and cybersecurity teams.
  • Oversee enterprise technology infrastructure, service delivery, and operational performance.
  • Manage cybersecurity programs, risk management initiatives, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Lead incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and adoption of industry best practices.
  • Support business functions across research, clinical, manufacturing, quality, commercial, and corporate operations.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive IT and cybersecurity leadership experience.
  • Experience leading technology strategy, infrastructure, operations, and security programs.
  • Proven success building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at the senior level in complex, regulated, and research-driven environments.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise and cloud security architectures, identity and access management, data protection, detection and response, and vulnerability management.
  • Proven expertise in regulatory and assurance frameworks particularly in life sciences contexts.
  • Pragmatic, risk-based approach to security that balances protection, usability, and scientific velocity.
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections and GxP audits.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality, or a related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, or cloud security credentials strongly preferred.
Salary Range

Replimune is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $202,000-$261,500. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s unique set of qualifications, skills, and experience. Our current organizational needs also play a part in determining your final offer.

At Replimune, base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The selected candidate will be eligible for an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity. Replimune also offers various benefits offerings, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k match, flexible time off, and a number of paid holidays including year-end shutdown.
