Job Summary
 
As an IT Operations Specialist II, you will play a vital role in monitoring and operating server computer systems. You will be responsible for managing batch processing to ensure quality output to customers and users. Become a part of our dynamic team that is dedicated to helping one another.
 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Operate, monitor, and control mainframe, midrange, and server computer systems, including all related printing equipment. 
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining computer equipment, loading peripheral equipment (printers) with selected materials (paper/special forms & electronic media), and reporting any problems that arise to the shift supervisor. 
  • Possess a working knowledge of systems that process on the shift, balancing of processed output, and distribution of printed reports. 
  • Monitor mainframe and midrange systems and servers via remote terminal(s). 
  • Attain a working understanding of console commands, operating system(s), 3rd party software, and Microsoft Office Products. 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • One year of experience within the same or similar environment. 
  • Working knowledge of computer equipment and peripherals. 
  • Reliable, dependable, and have a positive attitude. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds.
