Job description

Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Manager to lead our local IT operations and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT service support, project management, and business relationship management. The IT Manager will play a critical role in maintaining high-performing helpdesk services, driving IT strategy, and ensuring compliance with security and licensing standards.
Main Tasks
  • Steering and managing IT systems software, hardware and databases
  • Managing the analysis, development and administration of data and voice networks as well as data processing operations
  • Managing broad technical knowledge and experience across a variety of IT areas, including infrastructure, development, operations and quality assurance
  • Steering the support for end user technology and software
  • Overseeing the conduction of cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects

Skills Requirements
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, operations, practices, and procedures within IT Service Desk operations
  • Ability to work independently as well as team player in an international environment
  • Familiar with risk management / escalation management, and managing deadlines
  • Knowledge of IT related laws
  • 10% Travel Domestically
  • 100% on-site at our Allen Plant (Gastonia, NC)

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and/or 5 years of IT Manager experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience Requirements
  • 5 years minimum relevant IT Manager work experience within field service support.
  • Experience across ITIL service support processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
